ARCHIVED MOPORT: The Republican National Convention August 29 - September 2, 2004 The RNC in New York City was the inaugural MOPORT event. 15,000 media representatives covered the convention, but we didn't think they could handle the job--especially with 250,000 protesters, 10,000 police officers and 5,000 delegates in attendance.
